Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Moonchild Sanelly has been praised by Vogue India. The publication named the Mzansi artist as one of their nine favourite emerging Black artists their readers need to listen to in 2021. She's the only South African artist who made it to the list.
The publication described the Bashiri hitmaker as "a mainstay of the South African house scene". It said the star's recently released EP titled Nüdes is a cheeky collection of bangers that celebrate everything from bisexuality to "thunda thighs".
"The charismatic rapper earned the Beyoncé stamp of approval when her firecracker feature MY POWER earned a spot on The Lion King: The Gift and she appeared in the accompanying Disney+ feature Black Is King," Vogue India wrote.
In other music news, Briefly.co.za reported that Black Coffee has revealed that he will soon perform as a virtual avatar. The star retweeted a tweet from EDM.com (Electronic Dance Music) which explains how the whole process will work.
According to EDM.com, the world-renowned DJ will have a custom avatar developed in his image and will perform through use of motion-capture technology.
