Thuli Phongolo has bagged a role in the upcoming season Rockville. The actress will star as Buhle in the highly-anticipated Season 5 of the popular Mzansi Magic drama series.

According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela's The Entertainment Alert, Buhle is a young lady from KwaZulu-Natal who is in Johannesburg to look for a good job.

Buhle gets into trouble after meeting someone who makes money through questionable dealings.

Thuli will join the likes of Connie and Shona Ferguson, Ayanda Thabethe and Brenda Ngxoli, among others. The stunner became popular in Mzansi during the days when she portrayed the character of Namhla in SABC 1's Generations: The Legacy.

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Shona Ferguson took to social media recently to hint at the return of Mzansi Magic drama, Rockville.

The viewers of the show got excited when the executive producer of the show took to Instagram on Tuesday, 16 March and shared a video of some of the characters' dressing rooms.

Shona also played the role of JB in the drama series while his wife Connie portrayed the character of Mavis. The star-studded cast of the show includes talented Mzansi actors such as Gail Mabalane, Boity and Sello Maake KaNcube. Sello celebrated his 61st birthday a few days ago.
