Jamie Fox to Play Mike Tyson in Retired Boxer's Limited Documentary

Revered US actor Jamie Foxx has taken up a challenging role for his upcoming project, TUKO.co.ke has learnt.
The popular thespian will be playing legendary boxer Mike Tyson, in a new film documenting the life of the boxing champion.
According to CNN, Jamie Foxx will appear in the upcoming biographical limited series dubbed Tyson.
Briefly.co.za understands the upcoming project has been billed as an authorised chronicle of the sportsman's life.
The biography will be executive-produced by one of the biggest moviemakers in the world, Marting Scorsese.
However, he will not be the only producer as Jamie Foxx, will not only star on the project but also take part as a producer.
Others who will be on the production board include Antoine Fuqua, Rick Yorn with the real-life Tyson's Legends Only League producing it as well.
It should be noted the new project with show Mike Tyson's life from his childhood to his life as he tried to become one of the most legendary boxing figures of all time.
Tyson, in an official statement, disclosed he has been looking forward to sharing his own story.
"I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time. With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment. I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains." Tyson said.
The series is not currently attached to any network or streaming service but the team promised to announce the same and the premiere date on a future date.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Cassper is passionate about boxing and even though his match with AKA fell apart dismally, the rapper still enjoys talking about the sport online.
A recent boxing match featuring Connor McGregor resulted in Cassper once again posting about the sport on his social media page.
He revealed that Mike Tyson is his favourite fighter of all time given all he managed to achieve despite his short stature.
