Social media no doubt wields a lot of power seeing as it can control how people think or what they want for themselves. American rapper, Safaree, recently spoke about this on his page.
The music star, who did not seem pleased about how people were easily influenced by the things they see on the internet, explained how people judge their lives based on such things.
According to him, 22-year-olds on social media feel like they have failed and even consider suicide if they do not earn six figures or drive a fancy car.
He stated that social media also had some women thinking that a guy who could not afford to buy them a Chanel bag has nothing to offer them.
The rapper added that guys who have a good nine-to-five job think it is slavery. Safaree said people on social media rarely loved things about themselves and only wanted what the others had or pretended to have.
In the caption of the post, the rapper said he loved his childhood and new generation kids were under a lot of pressure.
