Somizi Mhlongo shared his transformation for Idols SA as he went from an 'ugly ducking' to a 'beautiful swan' for the latest episode of the singing competition.
His first video was taken en-route to the studio, he was treating his baggy eyes and low energy levels.
He captioned the first video with:
"This ugly duckling will turn into a swan very shortly....off to work.....shooting @idolssa all day today.....whilst en-route I shall deal with the eye bags and energize with some fresh ginger and lemon juice....happy good Friday."
His next video showed him being pampered by make-up artists while that added long extensions to his hair, he thanked the make-up artist and stylists in his video post:
"The swan....thanks to my squad hair @lazola_kblom, face beat @nomsamadida and minister of order @iam_sphekay @idolssa time."
He posted the finished result on his Instagram page and it really was a total transformation.
His fans took to the comments section of the post and shared their reaction to Somizi's transformation:
"For a second I thought you were Beyonce."
"That weavecan I have it if you don't want it anymore. Please ."
"I love you all the way from Botswana. Can you please courier that hair to me when you done ❤️ koore go lit ."
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Somizi was serious when he said that he would go on vacation as often as possible. He recently shared a picture from his holiday home in Zimbali, KZN.
The stunning house overlooks the ocean and is set on the tranquil North Coast of the province.
It’s not yet clear if Vusi Nova went along with him as the picture only shows the scenic views. Mohale, however, was not in attendance as his most recent post places him in Johannesburg.
In other news, Mohale Motaung is showing every day that he is a force in his own right. Shooting to fame as Somizi’s much-younger husband, Mohale has been doing his best to get out of the celebrity’s enormous shadow.
The model and entrepreneur recently celebrate reaching and surpassing 400 000 followers on Twitter. This is a massive achievement for the media personality as most of his business involves being in the influencer sphere.
The more followers he can influence, the bigger his bag is going to be.
