A young lady with the Twitter handle @iamchanel_a has got people talking on the social media platform after recreating a photo her mum took with her as a baby in 1997.
The lady recreated the old image by taking an adorable photo with her daughter and striking the same pose in the first picture.
The lady's photo as a baby shows there is a striking resemblance between her and her daughter.
Captioning the photos, she wrote:
"My mom & I 1997 vs my daughter & I 2021."
Reacting to the post, tweep with the handle @_yahhmaignoix wrote:
"You and your daughter look so identical as babies!! So cute."

"You are transforming from your mother's colour to white. Your daughter and her daughter will be completely white."

"Science fact of the day: Projected dark skin babies aren’t going to be dark skin as soon as they leave the womb. It will slowly grow to be darker as the baby ages. This applies to many other traits such as eye colour, hair colour and hair texture. She isn’t 'whitewashing'."
Previously, Briefly News reported on a couple who recreated their wedding pics 50 years later. Kelly Gay, 76, and his 70-year-old wife got married at DSM First Church in Des Moines, Iowa, on 12 March 1971, Daily Mail reports.
Briefly News notes that one of the recent pictures they took shows them standing on the church altar which still has the same cross it did 50 years ago.
The wife, identified as Carolyn, said when she looks at her wedding photographs, she sees a lot of wrinkles. In her words:
"I sit here and look at the pictures and I see a lot of wrinkles. Sam has very good equipment because it shows every line in my face!"
According to Fox News, Carolyn spent three years growing her hair out to be the same length as it was in 1971, to recreate their wedding photos.
