Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo has taken on the role as Vuyiswa Maake in The Queen. Zandile Msutwana, who usually portrays the role, got injured on set and Ferguson Films had to make a quick plan to replace her.
Taking to social media, Thembisa showed that she's ready to take on the role and she's excited. She captioned her post with the following:
"Let the journey begin. Hello, Vuyiswa."
In the beginning, fans found it a little strange that the producers of The Queen didn't wait until Zandile got better, but now they are warming up to the idea.
Thembisa is thrilled to be making this next step in her acting career and is hoping that this will be beneficial to her in the end.
