Ms Cosmo Turns 33: 3 Facts About the Stellar Star in Honour of Her Birthday
It's no longer taboo for a female to be a DJ but Ms Cosmo made it in the game when it was still hard to break those boundaries. The DJ is celebrating her 33rd birthday today and Briefly News compiled a few facts about the exceptional star.

Ms Cosmo, real name Nonqaba Nozuko Rwaxa, is turning 33 today and Briefly News put together three interesting facts about the hip-hop DJ. She's been making waves in the entertainment business and turned herself into a household name.
1. Ms Cosmo is educated
Not only is she a talented DJ, but Ms Cosmo has a degree in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg. She worked as a property finance consultant for some time after graduating but her passion for music overshadowed everything.
Ms Cosmo then decided to enrol in FUSE Academy to pursue her love for music. Since then, she's opened for big artists who come to perform in South Africa, such as Chris Brown, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar to name a few.

2. She's also a presenter in broadcasting
Ms Cosmo is not only a DJ but she has the ability to speak behind the mic as well. She has had gigs on YFM, 5FM and now has her own online podcast titled SHE Social Podcast. In 2012, she became the first and only female DJ to join The Bassment on Channel O.
She broke barriers that were put in place for women who wanted to be DJs and showed that she's talented in her own right.
3. Ms Cosmo has met Big Sean
Not everyone gets the chance to say they got to hang out with US rapper Big Sean but Ms Cosmo does. Ms Cosmo decided to spoil herself and take a trip to America in 2017 so she could enjoy the rapper's I Decided tour and she got the chance to meet him too.
The DJ left Mzansi envious when she shared a snap with the rapper, showing that anything is possible.
