Somizi Mhlongo loves sending inspirational messages on his social media accounts but was pleased to know that this time, his words stopped someone from ending their life. Lately, the Idols SA judge has been trying his best to motivate others and it seems to be working.
Taking to Instagram, Somizi shared that he is happy that he was able to stop someone from doing something terrible. Right after a steamy gym session, Somizi had another sit-down with his followers.
"I decided to go through my DMs. Thank you for trusting and sharing your stories. There's one person who said she was five minutes from committing suicide.
"She decided to go through and Instagram and thanked me. She said that I was on time," said Somizi.
The woman said that Somizi changed her perspective on life and she's feeling so much better. She's regained her hope and faith. The woman has now found a reason why she should stay alive.
"I'm glad that I'm not selfish and I share. I hope that my stories will encourage you, even when I am going through the most," said the media personality.
Briefly News previously reported that Somizi demands a six-month bank statement before his next date. It seems Somizi's previous relationship really burnt him because he is now being a bit more careful about who he allows in his life.
When a social media user asked him if he was interested in going on a date, the media personality's response left him trending online. Somizi responded to the stranger by saying that he wanted a six-months bank statement because he doesn't play like that any more.
Many believed that he was saying that because of his current situation with his estranged husband Mohale. Although the pair have not officially split, they have not been seen together in months.
Somizi has been living his best life with bestie Vusi Nova while Mohale has immersed himself in work.
