Grateful Man Remembers Those Who Made His Wedding Possible in 1980
- A man recently took to social media to disclose that his father's friends contributed to his glamorous wedding with his mum

- Social media users soon flooded the comment section of the post to share their thoughts on the list of contributors

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a list of those who contributed to his father's glamorous wedding ceremony.
In the list were names of his father's friends who contributed from N5 to N20 and they all came up with N356 (R13) to support the wedding ceremony in 1980.
The young man with the Twitter handle @jamesity wrote:
"My father's friends raised less than 400naira to support his glamorous marriage to my wonderful mum.
"Which way Nigeria?"
Reacting to the list, a tweep with the handle @damiladeniran said:
"That should be around 4million naira present time, if not even more."
@JessicaAzubike commented:
"There's something about reading notes from way back that always intrigues me. I remember the letter my Aunt wrote her brother during the civil war."

In other news, Briefly News reported that a young Nigerian lady simply identified as Tifeoluwani shared adorable photos of herself after getting engaged.
Tifeoluwani with the Twitter handle @Tifeoluwani3 said the love of her life shocked her by popping the question to which she said yes.
According to the young lady who professed undying love to the lucky man, she is still trying to process how she feels.
She wrote:
"So This Man shocked me today...... Omo I never recover, I’m still trying to process how I feel. I love you Man, Cheers to forever with you."
