MacG echoed Slik Talk's sentiments and accused the PA leader of hopping onto trending issues for relevance. MacG criticised Gayton McKenzie, suggesting that he lacks values or a moral compass and is more of a clout chaser than a principled politician.

“For me, a red flag with Gayton McKenzie is I remember when he was running for elections or whatever. He'd always respond to us. Remember Dudu? When we reached out to him to come on the pod and whatever, and he came, we had a beautiful episode. Remember? Then he got into parliament. Then he became a minister, and then we tried to reach out to him again to for him to come back, and you know, especially when he started doing that thing of releasing those COVID things. We're like, ‘Oh, this is dope. We got to get Gayton on, you know, to see what else is he going to do’, because he started off so nicely after that, bro. He started blue-ticking us when he got into parliament. You understand? For me, I told Dudu, ‘I'm like that's a red flag, man.’ Like for me, it just shows this guy's got no backbone. He's always just riding on whatever's trending, and he's always just bandwagon. He jumps on the bandwagon of whatever's happening. You know what I mean? But he stands for nothing,” MacG said.
