Marked actress Lerato Mvelase recently shared a glimpse of her sad childhood in a recent interview.
Mvelase, who previously had social media talking when she warned her fans about a fake TikTok account opened up about her upbringing.

In the video, Mvelase says [some] actors don't talk about their lives and the things they have been through.
The House of Zwide star gave a glimpse of her childhood by revealing:
"I would be in the bathroom most of the time and have a slice of brown bread, which I would have to down with water from the tap in the bathroom."
The Marked star also shared that she often missed school because of her living conditions, and she was so relieved when she passed matric and was accepted at Wits.
Mvelase adds that she could finally cry when she got to varsity because she didn't have to be strong anymore.
"In that house, I had to be strong," says the SAFTA-winning actress.
