L-Tido Donates Over R40K to Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund After Winning on ‘Deal or No Deal’

Things are looking up for the award-winning rapper and podcaster L-Tido as he won a massive prize recently at the Deal or No Deal Celebrity Edition alongside other popular personalities.
Primedia shared with Briefly News that the podcaster who recently signed a deal with DStv won a whopping R40 016 during the game show, which he will be donating to a charity called Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund.
Among the other big-name stars who have already raised funds for Jumping Kids on Deal or No Deal Celebrity are Boity Thulo, Lerato Kganyago Ndlala, and MasterChef South Africa judge Katlego Mlambo. With all these contributions, the show’s Jumping Kids kitty now amounts to nearly R400K.

Who is Jumping Kids Prosthetic Fund?
Jumping Kids is a charity that addresses the needs of children with lower-leg amputations by providing access to prosthetic equipment, rehabilitative care, mainstream education, and sports participation. Many of these kids have garnered medals at international Paralympic Games.
Deal or No Deal also posted on their Instagram page about Kganyago's winnings. The celebrated radio personality won over R62K.

Pearl Modiadie won big on Deal or No Deal Celebrity Edition
In February 2025, the South African actress and media personality Pearl Modiadie won big on the reality game show.
The actress, who showed off her stunning engagement ring previously, excitedly shared on social media that she had won R250K on the Deal or No Deal celebrity edition. The mother of one shared that the money she won will be donated to a charity of her choice on her Instagram page.
She wrote:
"I couldn't have asked for a better way to start the year than taking a chance for a meaningful cause. We did it! Winning R250,000 for my chosen charity, Tshepang Care Centre, on *Deal or No Deal* was more than just a game—it was a deeply personal and faith-driven experience. MacG takes a jab at L-Tido
Meanwhile, Briefly News reported that MacG took a jab at L-Tido after DStv dropped him following his nasty comments about Minnie Dlamini.
During a Podcast and Chill episode that aired on Monday, 26 May 2025, MacG discussed their potential replacements on DStv. MacG took a jab at L-Tido, sparking laughter from his co-hosts, Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady. He even suggested taking a drastic measure should DStv replace Podcast and Chill with L-Tido's podcast.
