South African flamboyant media personality Somizi Mhlongo has been making headlines on social media recently, and this time around, the star was praised for his latest good deed.

On Thursday, 21 August 2025, an online user @nkosii.no.thando posted a video of the actor, who earlier on opened up about being broke after he was called out for taking all opportunities, visiting one of his sick fans at a hospital.

In the clip, Mhlongo is seen walking into the ward with a gift for the unknown sick patient.

Actor Thembinkosi Mthembu and singer Lira also visited the 18-year-old at the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital in Johannesburg earlier in August 2025. Specialist paediatrician, Dr Nokukhanya Khanyile-Lenake, who was part of the incredible planning, said it was an emotional experience for her:
