Mam'Nandi Nyembe's cause of death revealed

While netizens praised DJ Zinhle for her act of kindness, on Monday, 25 August 2025, Briefly News also reported that the family of the veteran actress have revealed her cause of death.

The grandson of the thespian, Jabulani Nyembe, shared that his famous grandmother had been battling a long-term illness before her death. He also mentioned that this is a tough time for them as a family, and they are dealing with a lot of things, but are working together to preserve her legacy.

"We are currently working through how we can firstly preserve her legacy, and secondly, continue holding each other hand-in-hand. It is also about ensuring that we live out her values," Jabulani said.
