Is Sizwe Dhlomo starting his own radio station? That is the question on everybody's mind as the radio presenter continues to give updates on the building process of his home studio.

Dhlomo announced a few weeks back that he is in the process of building his very own studio, which will be located at his mansion.

This gave many people the assumption that he is looking to venture into either podcasting or a whole new radio station. However, the personality has seemingly debunked the rumours.

Sizwe Dhlomo gives update on home studio

On Tuesday, 9 September, Sizwe Dhlomo revealed that he was selecting mic prop filters for the studio microphones. He previously shared that he purchased studio clocks.

Responding to a fan who was curious about Sizwe's plans with the studio, he simply said he is doing it "nje," which means "just."

"I’m building for myself but I’m not starting a radio station. I’m just building a studio nje," he said.

Many people are still sceptical of his reasoning, and some are anticipating a major announcement soon. He recently trended when he responded to Nota's interest in buying Kaya 959.

"Sizwe is not stupid. This is most probably an investment. There's a recording studio as well, which he will rent out. The studio can also be rented out when he is not using it for podcasts."
