Outspoken poet Ntsiki Mazwai has proposed a harsher penalty for Penny Ntuli for twerking on the highway.
Penny Ntuli shot up the trending charts on social media after a video of her and a friend twerking on the highway. In the widely circulated video, Penny Ntuli and a friend are dancing, bending over and twerking for oncoming traffic while on the side of the road.
While the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) condemned Penny Ntuli, Ntsiki Mazwai thinks that the Jozi FM radio presenter deserves a harsher punishment.

Netizens react to Ntsiki Mazwai's proposal to fine Penny Ntuli
In the comments, several netizens agreed with Ntsiki Mazwai. They compared Penny Ntuli’s treatment to how Sol Phenduka was dealt with, suggesting that the system is biased in favour of women.
Here are some of the comments:
@Itu_Mphaphi said:
“Fine? You are deluded. A whole adult who can make her own life choices? If the truck hits her, it hits her; she knows that, too. I don't get why we are even talking about this.”
@TallAzzJay argued:
“They fired Sol by using him as an example to us as gents. But because Penny Ntuli is a lady, they won't do anything about it. The radio system is against the gents!”
@tshepe1985 responded:
“I think firing her is a bit harsh; she made a mistake that every good-spirited person can make. People are stealing millions, but are still working.”
@euro735 highlighted:
“Just like how they fired Sol Phenduka for comments that weren't even his. They should fire her for 'reckless twerking' and endangering motorists on a freeway. Yellow line parking is illegal on the freeway. A law was broken in front of our eyes.”
@malomeDASH said:
“That was very negligent and callous behaviour on her part. A driver could easily lose focus, and the whole gimmick could have turned into culpable homicide.”
@mickey07_mouse proposed:
“In fact, she must be arrested. 6 months in jail.”
@StHonorable asked:
“Fined under which act?”
@ka_lubelo92284 argued:
“Fining her is harsh, but, suggesting a warning could do wonders.”
