In a series of posts that quickly went viral, Shai did not hold back his pain.
"Honestly I have mixed emotions 😅💔...I'm angry and disappointed..My other part wants to lea..." he wrote, with the post cutting off before he could finish his thought. A second post appeared to complete the picture: "...supporting husband to you..😅💔 Why did you choose to ruin something so beautiful that we had? What about our future plans? Or was it just a joke?? The response from social media users was immediate and charged. Several people expressed genuine sympathy for Shai, while others directed their anger squarely at Limpopo Boy.
@__T_touch wrote:
"He should. 💔 I genuinely feel for the brother. This sucks."
@NetshDon had strong words for Limpopo Boy:
"Limpopo boy ke masepa, why do you chaw someone's wife? As gents, sometimes we need to avoid such, even if it's tempting. We need to respect someone's wife even though the wife doesn't respect herself. This brother is hurt to the core, mmm yerr Mzansi it's a movie"
Not everyone was sympathetic, however. @_louisgemini was blunt:
"This is why they cheated on him"
@LaSiahis offered a broader warning to men:
"I always say this and people think it's a joke..........Your lady must not be close to your friends, even your best friend, to a point where you don't need guys when you 2 are together, not even her friends; it's that severely serious."
@fields_gre21758 reflected on the nature of betrayal:
"If anyone has questions for your actions when you have cheated, they are asking you to lie to them so they can find a way to forgive you! That's the painful thing about love, you know you've been stabbed in the back, instead of walking away, you look for a way to rinse & repeat!"
