Former 947 radio personality Hulisani Ravele stepped out of her usual social media silence to set the record straight after fans jumped to conclusions about her presence on the station. Her clarification post, shared on 13 August 2026, came after a wave of comments mistakenly suggested she had made a permanent return to hosting duties.

Ravele, who left 947 at the end of September 2023 to focus on other pursuits, confirmed she had appeared on Bolele's show, The Frequency, strictly as an interview guest. The visit formed part of a Women's Month celebration throughout August, where the show spotlighted women across different fields.

"I did not return to the airwaves in the form of coming back to host a show bagaetsho, I was there for an interview," she wrote, referencing the original caption which described the segment as a women's celebration feature.

Despite the confusion, Ravele described the experience warmly, calling it "a glorious full-circle moment." This was not her first return to familiar territory since stepping away from radio. In August 2024, she made an appearance on Kaya 959's Feel Good with Andy Maqondwana, hosting the Girl Let's Talk segment every Wednesday afternoon during Women's Month.

For those looking to connect with her work, she directed followers to her platform, purposepowerimpact. africa, as well as her Instagram and TikTok profiles. "If you're looking for me, you'll find me ko..." she wrote, listing all three destinations before signing off with "Nibe safety."

She also noted that she does not typically engage on X, describing her presence there as a deliberate choice to post occasionally rather than interact.

@TakeItAll30: "That's not what you said on the quoted post. You said you are back at 947"

@MooseManzini: "It's always the ones who can't read and have a short attention span. Your message was very clear"
