Veteran actor Gabriel Temudzani has swapped the royal court of *Muvhango* for the political arena, officially joining ActionSA as the party ramps up its campaign ahead of upcoming municipal elections. The announcement, made by ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba on X, caught Mzansi completely off guard.
Temudzani is best known for his two-decade portrayal of Chief Vhafuwi Azwindini Mukwevho on SABC 2's beloved soapie 'Muvhango', a role that made him one of the most recognisable faces in South African television. Herman Mashaba shared photos of the actor wearing the party's signature green patterned bucket hat while receiving his ActionSA membership registration on a smartphone.
