South African actor and maskandi musician Mongezi ‘Mayoghut’ Jama says he is done with situationships and half-hearted connections. The 24-year-old entertainer, who hails from uMzimkhulu in southern KwaZulu-Natal, has made it clear that he is looking for something real, a relationship built on trust that could eventually lead to marriage and children.
Mayoghut was careful to say that he is not chasing marriage for its own sake. That betrayal cut deep enough to inspire a song. ‘Ngilimele’ features on his latest album, Yayiqabulana NoSwidi, and draws directly from that experience. Despite the hurt, Mayoghut says he has not given up on love, noting that heartbreak is something he has faced before. What Mayoghut wants in a partner
