Londi Mncwabe has broken her silence on singer Naledi Aphiwe, sharing explosive allegations after Naledi allegedly sent abusive direct messages to her 49-year-old mother, who suffers from a lung condition.

Posting on social media on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, Londi said she had protected Naledi for a long time out of respect for her music career, but that patience had officially run out. "I have protected uAphiwe for far too long because of her music career, but enough is enough," she wrote.

What did Londi allege about Naledi?

According to Londi, Naledi sent a text to her mother as though she were speaking to someone her own age, which she described as deeply disrespectful. She added that her mother's lung condition means she struggles to breathe whenever she is distressed, and that her health deteriorated following the exchange.

The allegations do not stop there. Londi also claimed that Naledi body-shamed her and threatened physical violence in the messages, with screenshots allegedly showing Naledi telling her she wanted to hit her. She further accused Naledi of blaming her for running multiple fake accounts to damage the singer's public image, a claim Londi denies, noting that Naledi refused to have the matter properly investigated when it was first raised in December last year.

In her own words, Londi wrote: "uNaledi Aphiwe akabazi abantu abadala nenhlonipho akanayo," accusing the singer of having no respect for elders.
