The event originally launched in Johannesburg, but the singer told DailySUN that she and her team always felt the pull to bring it closer to where it all began. She officially unveiled the Durban edition at Maison in Durban, setting the tone for what she hopes will be a landmark occasion.

"When we were organising it, we thought, 'Let's bring it home."

She elaborated on the personal significance of the decision, noting that the journey back was always part of the plan.

"I told myself that the next thing I had to do was go home. Sometimes, when you start something, you can't just go to the big places; you have to start at the nearest venues and then go big."

One of the standout elements of the Durban show will be MaWhoo's performance with a live band, a deliberate choice the Dubai singer says sends a clear message to fans.
