The EWN report that prompted Sol's reaction revealed that the investigating officer in the case had disclosed WhatsApp messages allegedly sent between Sibiya and a 16-year-old girl. The state's case centres on allegations that Sibiya made repeated sexual advances towards the teenage daughter of someone he considered a close associate.
