Mining mogul Solomon "MySol" Madibela made headlines after a candid sit-down on Podcast and Chill, where he tackled burning questions about his love life, his music industry ties, and a bold plan to back rapper Emtee's FNB Stadium ambitions. The episode, recorded at what appears to be an indoor studio dressed in a bright yellow "Chillers Punch" and "Podcast and Chill" branded backdrop, quickly went viral after it dropped on 15 October 2026.
MySol addresses Babalwa M rumours
A viral clip from May 2026 showing MySol and Amapiano vocalist Babalwa M dancing closely together on stage had social media buzzing with romantic speculation for months. On the podcast, MySol pushed back on the narrative, saying he was dancing with every artist present that evening and that the video was taken out of context by the media. Neither he nor Babalwa M has confirmed any romantic involvement.
When host MacG pressed him on his relationship status, MySol was direct: "I'm not married." He went on to caution anyone with money against rushing into marriage, pointing to how South African laws around divorce settlements can work against wealthy individuals even with strong prenuptial agreements. He argued that once a couple marries, the lifestyle the partner has grown accustomed to becomes a legal consideration in any split, regardless of contractual protections.
