Zama Ngcobo opened up about her entry into reality TV as one of the new faces on the Real Housewives of Durban's fourth season. The media personality revealed that though it was easy to go into reality TV, she needed to adjust to having cameras follow her.

Former Generations actress Zama Ngcobo opened up about her entry into the Real Housewives franchise as one of the Durban cast members for the anticipated fourth season.

Zama told Briefly News that her authenticity and farm girl finesse are what viewers can look forward to:

"What viewers can expect from me on the show is someone who is very honest. I lead a very honest journey in my life and I have been consistent. People can expect someone who is open-minded but not tolerant of nonsensical things."
"They can also expect to see a side of me that is very spiritual that I know many people have always appreciated and are aware of."

A proud rural girlie, Zama told the publication that she takes pride in her roots:

"I've always wondered what it would be like to have a housewife that fits a profile like mine, an ordinary girl from the farmlands; I'm not from the towns or the suburbs. I've stayed in Johannesburg for over 20 years and noticed that even Joburg stands on the shoulders of the people from the rural areas."

"We are very talented and gifted people and deserve a seat at the table. I come with the representation and authenticity of my culture. I'm immensely proud of how I command my language, and people will see that in the way I conduct myself and how I carry my values, and will find that I'm relatable."
