The image, which garnered over 70,000 views, prompted an outpouring of warmth from fans who felt Jali looked settled and content. Many noted that his wife appeared to be a stabilising force in his life, particularly as the former midfielder navigates life after football.

Jali's journey after football

Jali built one of the more decorated careers in South African football, turning out for major clubs including Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates. He also had a stint overseas with Belgian side K.V. Oostende before returning home. His final club was Chippa United in Gqeberha, where his 18-year playing career came to a close.

Away from the pitch, Jali has spoken openly about growing his agricultural interests. What started with 50 head of cattle in 2019 has since expanded into a herd of over 1,000. He also owns a double-storey mansion in the Eastern Cape, reportedly worth around R17 million, complete with modern finishes and spacious outdoor areas.

His name had recently drawn attention on social media after images of him sparked debate about his physical condition since retiring, with some fans comparing his current appearance to his playing days.
