Skeem Saam fans recently slammed actress Elizabeth Serunye's character, Jacobeth Thobakgale, for her dress code behind the scenes.
Serunye plays a retired principal who is taking care of her daughter, Dr Elizabeth Thobakgale Seakamela, who is tackling postpartum depression.
The legendary actress stars opposite former The River actor Lunga Mofokeng, who portrays the character of an educator, Mr Q, at Turf High.
A fan of the soapie, @MsRuby, shared a photo of the actress on her X account on Thursday, 1 October 2026, and wrote:

In the photo, Thobakgale is sitting in the Seakamela household, where her daughter resides with her husband, Kwaito Seakamela (played by Clement Maosa).
Another fan of the show, @kasimait, shared on his X account that Thobakgale's dress code is perfect for her role.
"This is exactly how someone called Jacobeth Thobakgale and is a former school principal that was scammed of her pension fund, would dress. I’m sorry," he wrote.
