The young woman’s video went viral after people shared it 2,118 times. People could not believe the amount of money the lady paid for the hair and shared their reactions.
A thread of 1715 comments was generated by unimpressed people. They assumed that she was scammed by the people she bought the hair from.

A young South African woman, Rae, showed off her brand-new R8.5K wig. The youngster explained four days ago that she sacrificed groceries to buy the hair.

She expressed her excitement in a now-viral TikTok video, but South Africans who viewed the clip were not impressed. People found the price ridiculous for the unit they saw in the video.
They expected the hair to be much silkier than it appeared. Some pointed out that they saw the hair at Dragon City for much less.
Rae clapped back in the comments by explaining that she was satisfied with her purchase and that the hair was of good quality, and the length contributed to the high price:
“1: It’s a 13*5 frontal. 2: It’s colour 3: The length. 4: It’s grade 10A. It’s the ones that have never owned premium hair that are pressed.”
