Three criminals were caught on camera and trended on social media after a lady on TikTok, Kesia Burdett, posted their failed mission. The video garnered over seven million viewers.

South Africans were alarmed by the crime rate in the country and shared their concerns. People shared the now-viral clip 48.2K times online.

Three criminals were caught on camera after trying to hijack a black Range Rover. The men crossed the road slowly after eyeing their target.

When they got closer, they tried to take out their weapons to try to intimidate the driver. A white Hyundai i10 on a different lane saw the mischievous act and made space for the Range Rover driver to escape.

The driver acknowledged the escape plan and stepped on the accelerator, which startled the criminals. The hijackers panicked and scattered off the road swiftly.

A lady who witnessed the whole thing, Kesia Burdett, explained to Mzansi:

“This just happened at Sandton Gate, JHB - 3 armed men tried to hijack cars in broad daylight. No shame. No fear. South Africa, we need to talk.”
