A video shared on TikTok showed people a different side to snakes. The viper appeared to have met its match after slithering into an area where there was a cat.

The viral post of the snake’s heated confrontation with a cat received thousands of likes. People commented on the video, marvelling over the fierce animal interaction.

A clip on TikTok by @krasimir.kolchew showed people a snake that was trying to survive. A cat was stalking a snake. The slithering creature tried to get away, but the cat did not let up. Instead, it launched even more vicious attacks, striking the snake with its paw at lightning speed. The cat's fast reflexes came in handy as the viper to strike back. Unfortunately, the snake had to stay coiled around itself protectively as the cat continued striking with its paw. The owner of the cat praised his cat for steering the snake away.

People were amazed by the cat that kept up with the snake's strikes. People speculated about why cats are not afraid of snakes.

According to experts, cats are inclined to win in a face-off against a snake. Nature World News reported that cats have extremely fast reaction times to snakes. Research also showed that a cat’s whiskers aid them in sensing the smallest vibrations in their vicinity.
