A number of them dressed up as Mzansi ladies across the country to celebrate women. A group of them was found at Shoprite two days ago, shopping for sanitary pads.
The taxi drivers drowned themselves in makeup and wore wigs to bring out their feminine side. People at the grocery store were amused by how well the men pulled off each look.

Taxi drivers are often known as violent, masculine men. A number of the across South Africa proved the stereotype to be a bit off since they explored their feminine sides.

They dedicated the last few days of August to celebrate South African ladies and Women’s Month. A woman on TikTok, Portia Mabunda, spotted a group of taxi drivers dressed as women at a Shoprite store.
The men shopped for sanitary pads that they later donated. All of them passed as Mzansi ladies as they painted their faces with colourful makeup and wore trendy outfits.
People at the store were highly entertained as that was a side to taxi drivers they never dreamed of seeing. Porsh said:
