A local doctor captured the attention of social media users after sharing a photo of her damaged car, which she used as a moment of humorous reflection.

The post, shared on Facebook by Dr. Celiwe Ndaba, left social media users relieved that she was safe and laughing at her humorous tone.

The doctor's post begins with a photo of her Kia car, which was badly damaged in the front. She uses the moment to reflect on her past marriage to an unemployed husband, which she had said she was in denial about. She said the accident took her back to a time when she had to walk to the hospital to report for work because she had given her car to her soon-to-be ex-husband, inconveniencing herself and her kids.

Adding a bit of her humour, the doctor said that maybe God was trying to make her feel what she was doing to herself when she was still delusional. She acknowledged that she was safe even though her car was possibly going to be a write-off. In her humorous style, she jokingly asked for a car sponsor.

The comments section was filled with reactions from social media users who were glad to hear that she was not hurt after the accident. Many assured her that she would recover from the loss and possibly get an even better car than she had. Some said the post made them check their courtesy car option with their insurance.

The doctor confirmed that she also had one, but that it was taking time to process since she was in a rural area. Others added humour, joking that the Nigerian ex-husband probably sent a mama from the village to cast a spell on the car, as seen in some Nigerian movies where voodoo spells are cast on others.
