A 2007 advertisement for a Hyundai Getz left many South Africans thinking about the good old days when they saw that the instalment amounted to R1 299 per month. Some were also surprised that the vehicle came with a service plan

The TikTok account Nostalgia Bait took to the social media platform on 6 September, 2025 to share the epic advert. In the clip, two police officers with American accents chased a criminal and needed a woman's Hyundai Getz to catch up to the man on the run.
