The man, who is stunned, struggles to understand her, unsure if he is dreaming or if she is genuine. After understanding that Desire is not joking, he starts his shopping with her help. He picks up maize meal, sugar, milk, toiletries, meat, and many other things. The man keeps asking if they are counting, scared that they will go over the R1,000 budget. Desire reassures him that if the total amount is under the budget, he can buy more items. If it exceeds the budget, she will cover the difference. The amount goes up to R1,400, and she pays before bidding the happy man goodbye.
