Model and content creator Jaden Hoedemaker joined South Africa's Minister of Agriculture, John Steenhuisen, to get a glimpse of what his job entails. The pair entered the bee farming industry to learn about bees' significant role in agriculture.

Jaden's involvement with the Democratic Alliance leader was part of his online series of working 'random jobs' to raise money to travel to North America for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He shared with online users that he wanted to watch Bafana Bafana play for the Cup, which would be for the first time in 16 years. The international soccer tournament is scheduled from 11 June, 2026 to 19 July, 2026 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

After the content creator visited a bee farm, he attended a panel discussion on the bee industry in South Africa and learned how people can get more involved and access additional opportunities.

Jaden told people online:

"If you’d like to learn more, head to the Department of Agriculture's website and find out how you can get involved in the bee industry."
