Viewers noticed that he didn’t stick to just one protein, the man grabbed everything from chicken to beef and lamb, filling the bottom and middle sections of the trolley with sizable cuts.

He didn’t stop there. The video that was uploaded on 14 November 2025 showcased the gent adding frozen foods, yoghurt and other household staples, making sure not a single gap in the trolley went unused. By the end of the dash, his trolley was stacked to the brim, leaving many South Africans shocked at how much he managed to collect without rushing.

What set this trolley dash apart from others was the man’s pace. While most participants sprint through aisles in a frenzy, he remained unbothered, almost strolling, yet still gathered more items than the average participant.

Mzansi users couldn’t help but shower him with praise, and many called his approach strategic and admirable. In the comments, viewers jokingly labelled him "present dad," applauding what they described as a responsible father figure making sure his family is well-stocked for the festive season.
