A South African fashion creator turned a PEP fitting room into a full spring runway, and the internet cannot stop talking about it. On 3 September 2026, TikToker @styled_by_aimee_ posted a try-on haul filmed straight from a store mirror, asking her followers to help her decide which dress to take home. The lineup was anything but ordinary for a budget retailer.

Seven looks, one impossible choice

She modelled a brown polka-dot maxi dress, a striped tie-waist dress, a belted blue shirt dress, an olive green ruched dress, a leopard-print dress, a bright yellow puff-sleeve mini dress, and a dress with a leafy print. Each look was styled effectively, making the affordable pieces look far more expensive than their PEP price tags, with prices ranging between R80 and R230.
