A Gauteng Uber Eats delivery rider turned an ordinary workday into what looked like a scene straight out of an action film, and someone was right there to catch it all on camera.

TikToker @comfort_tsholofelo shared the clip on 23 September 2026, filmed from inside a car travelling behind the motorcyclist on a suburban road. What began as a routine drive quickly became something nobody expected.

At a red traffic light, the rider was already doing things differently. Instead of sitting on his bike normally, he had both feet planted on the left side and stood up while waiting for the light to change. When it turned green, he swung back into a seated position, navigated around a pothole, and then, as traffic picked up speed, stood upright on the bike again. He indicated to overtake the vehicles ahead of him, all while balancing on one side of the motorcycle, the Uber Eats delivery bag strapped firmly to his back.

Gauteng road stunt draws mixed reactions

Not everyone found it funny. Road safety experts warn that performing stunts in live traffic creates serious risks. Standing on a moving motorbike removes the rider's ability to brake or steer quickly, and roads across Gauteng are notorious for potholes and uneven surfaces that make unpredictable movements even more dangerous. There is also the legal side: stunt riding on public roads is treated as reckless driving, with consequences including fines and vehicle impoundment. The rider was also not wearing a helmet.
