A yellow school bus rolling through a South African neighbourhood was all it took to send the internet into a frenzy. Instagram user @icepopy_khumalo posted the clip on 8 October 2026, and it quickly became one of those videos nobody could scroll past without stopping.

The footage was shot from the bed of a moving pickup truck, showing a bright yellow school bus cruising ahead through what looked like a quiet residential street. For most South Africans, a yellow school bus is something they have only ever seen in Hollywood films.
