A junior school choir from KwaZulu-Natal has captured the hearts of South Africans with a performance that was as meaningful as it was moving. The Harper House Primary School choir took to the stage of the Choir Festival 2026 at an outdoor choral event held in a stadium-style amphitheatre, performing a Mzansi song.

The children, dressed in crisp white-and-navy uniforms, performed 'Mamela' by Mi Casa and were led by two teachers who guided them through the performance.
