Springbok captain Siya Kolisi left social media users sceptical and wondering if he ever loved his ex-wife, Rachel Kolisi, after he was seen frolicking around in what appeared to be a Cape Town suburb.

The popular rugby star took to his TikTok account on 1 August, 2025, sharing how he vibed to South African artists Kamo Mphela, Aymos, QUE DJ, Jay Music and SpacePose's song Partii.

Siya, who shares two children with Rachel, faced the city's strong winds, which blew his cap off his head, as he danced on a walkway opposite the beach. Even though he had to go back to fetch his cap, Siya was all smiles throughout the video.

Siya and Rachel Kolisi's divorce announcement

On 22 October, 2024, Siya and Rachel released a joint statement announcing that they were parting ways, noting that it was a mutual decision.

"While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they've always known."

Since entering the public sphere, Siya and Rachel were South Africa's favourite couple, so it came as a shock when the pair shared that they were getting a divorce.
