All about Rachel Kolisi
According to Famous Faces, Rachel Kolisi was born in Mafikeng and raised in Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape. She's known for her strong work ethic, having worked multiple jobs to put herself through an Events Management course at Stellenbosch Hotel School. As the second eldest of five siblings, Rachel learned early on not to be afraid of hard work.
Rachel became a mother to four children when she and Siya adopted his younger siblings, Liphelo and Liyema, in December 2014. The children had spent five years in orphanages and foster care in Port Elizabeth after being separated from Siya for seven years following their mother's death in 2009. Rachel was just 24 years old when she took on this responsibility, with her son Nicholas being only three months old at the time.
