South Africans cringed after a man shared a screenshot of a harsh message he received from a woman he had been pursuing.

He hopped on a now-viral TikTok challenge where people post about their complicated love lives, while watching other people fall in love. The chap received a lot of attention after people online read the embarrassing message.

The guy was ignored by the woman he was interested in and kept on texting her all weekend without getting a response back. He did not back down and kept sending her messages.

The woman got fed up with his endless messages and shared how she truly felt about him in a WhatsApp message:

“I blue-ticked you the whole weekend for a reason. Take the message. I'm not interested anymore. Stop begging, you’re losing aura points, which we both know you didn't have that much to begin with.”

Social media users were gagged by the message, but looked into the situation a bit deeper. People realised that the woman used social media language and alleged that she was a minor.

The man clarified that the lady was 26 years old and also took her side after she was bashed in the comments section. He protected her by saying:

“You don’t know her like I do. She’s just playing.”

He also explained that this might be his villain origin story and highlighted that he would punish his next love interest:
