Gift Bozekana, the South African online tutor behind Bethunana Academy, gave Mzansi a moment to celebrate on 17 July 2026. He posted a video of his mother walking through his gorgeous, brand-new home for the very first time, and the internet has not stopped talking about it since.

The clip, shared on his Facebook page Gift Bozekana, showed his mother moving from room to room in the spacious, beautifully furnished house. From serious courses to a serious home

Gift first gained a loyal following by encouraging young people to prioritise meaningful academic paths, pushing the idea that studying "serious courses" leads to real opportunity. His own life appears to be proving that point. The new house is not his only major milestone; he recently gifted himself a luxury car as well, signalling a remarkable season of personal achievement.
