The man filmed a tense confrontation with two South African Police Service officers on 8 October 2026. He accused them of taking R4,000 from a domestic worker who had no other income for the month.

The video was recorded through the window of a parked SAPS van and showed the student speaking directly to the two officers inside. He alleged that the domestic worker was left in tears and had no money for food as a result.
Throughout the confrontation in the clip by @newsnexussa, the man insisted the officers in that specific vehicle were responsible, stating it was the only police car present in the area at the time. The officers pushed back, asking whether the student was certain it was them and claiming there were three vehicles in the area. The student was unmoved, repeating the allegation and calling the officers "monsters" several times before the clip ended.
Neither officer denied taking the money outright. One asked repeatedly, "Which one?" while the other responded, "Are you sure it's us?" Those two phrases became focal points in the comments section, with viewers arguing the responses pointed to guilt rather than innocence.
