SOUTH AFRICA - Dudu Zuma-Sambudla found herself in the middle of a political storm after she posted two TikTok videos on the same day, one showing her in ANC regalia and another with an EFF cap on her head.

The clips caught the attention of EFF member Mayibuye Mandela, the great-grandson of former South African president and struggle icon Nelson Mandela, who took to X to demand an explanation.

"Earlier in the day, you were seen wearing ANC regalia, and just a few hours later, here you are wearing an @EFFSouthAfrica cap. Sisi, thetha uthini? [Sister, what are you saying?]"he wrote.

EFF regalia carries weight, Mandela says

Mandela made it clear that wearing EFF colours is not a casual act. He stated that the party's regalia, symbols and colours represent a movement and its values, and should not be used simply to make a point or stir reaction online.
