JOHANNESBURG — Former Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux has sparked fresh controversy after a video emerged of him addressing Ethiopian nationals in a Johannesburg township, telling them they are welcome in South Africa as long as they are documented.
In the clip shared on X, Lux stood among locals while speaking directly to the Ethiopian nationals present. He drew a distinction between documented and undocumented foreign nationals, stating that the country's fight was against those without proper papers and not against legal residents. He urged the Ethiopians not to live in fear, and declared that South Africans and Ethiopians are all Africans.
