A few months ago, new Real Madrid signing, Kylian Mbappe's speed was compared to Bolt's, sparking a heated debate online.

The Jamaican holds the 100m and 200m world records, which have stood for nearly 15 years. He won the 2009 world title in 9.58 seconds and the 200m in 19.19 seconds.

Few athletes have come close to those records, and his compatriot Asafa Powell recently said the 100m mark will stand for a long time.

Who can challenge Usain Bolt?

Recently, former Premier League star, Darren Bent quizzed Bolt about an article in which Bolt said Rashford could beat him.

"Yeah! Rashford is quick out the blocks, that is what he does. He has that burst of speed but after that, I told him, you could probably get me in 20 [yards]. But after that, it is over!" Bolt said via Sportbible.

Rashford is known for his blistering pace; however, Bolt is known for being slow off the blocks before hitting top speed at the end.

The perfect example is during the 100m event at the 2012 Olympics, which featured the five fastest sprinters of all time. Although he was slow at the start, his top-end speed saw him win gold and set an Olympic record of 9.63 seconds, per World Athletics.
