"He is so reliable on penalties. Assist for the second, fantastic for the third. Last season he struggled a lot, especially at the beginning. He felt tired and niggles most of the time. This time with the rest with no Euros he has arrived with a good vibe. The numbers are unbelievable," Pep Guardiola told Mancity.com.
Messi or Haaland? Guardiola responds
Briefly News earlier reported that Man City boss Pep Guardiola shut down Haaland comparisons to Lionel Messi after his hat-trick against Ipswich.
The Spaniard, who coached Messi at Barcelona said the Argentine is the most complete forward he's ever seen, inadvertently implying that there is no comparison between the two.
The Argentine forward won numerous titles under the Spanish tactician and probably played his best football during Guardiola's tenure at Barcelona.
